Essential Care in Lymphoedema is the first step to becoming a certified FG-MLD therapist. You will learn assessment and differential diagnosis, skincare, exercise, garments, IPC, laser, multi layer bandaging and psycho-social care.
By the end of the course you will have a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, enabling you to holistically assess and diagnose the patient with lymphoedema.
Although this course can be taken as a stand alone course and is accredited for CPD points, to become certified in FG-MLD you will need to complete part 2. Practical sessions, and exams, for both Parts 1 and 2…
