Specialist Lipoedema Management

Course Summary

A 4 module course provided by a team of international experts providing the latest research and guidelines for lipoedema and comprehensive overview of the condition and other fat disorders.

Focus on the underlying cause, diagnostic process including assessment, staging and treatment. Treatment options such as surgery (pre and post operative care), garment measuring and provision as well as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and exercise.

By the end of the course, you will be educated on the underlying cause and diagnostic process of lipoedema and be able to consider other fat disorders. You will be able to assess and stage patients to achieve a comprehensive diagnosis.

Practical skills obtained will focus on achieving excellence in garment fitting, Kinesiotaping and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for lipoedema.
