Course Summary
A comprehensive training review providing the most recent lymphoedema research, updated FG-MLD® techniques, case study reviews and confirming clinical competencies.
LTA only advocates the highest level of LTA Therapist and therefore you will be expected to practice at this level.
Assessment
Attending a recertification training day will not provide you with an automatic certificate to practice, your competencies will be assessed during your training and if you are assessed and it is deemed that you are not carrying out the MLD technique as per LTA standards, you may be asked to attend a further assessment.
Recertification
To maintain your LTA Therapist Certification, a 1 day recertification is required every 2 years to maintain your certification of practice.

Which recertification do I need?
Therapists who qualified with LTA require a 2-day recertification after 12 months.
Therapists who have already attended a 2-day recertification must attend a 1-day recertification every 2 years.
